Peter Standley is a sculptor and stonemason.

Working from his Nottinghamshire based studio, he produces both figurative and abstract sculpture to commission working predominantly in marble , bronze and stone.

As a young art student Peter travelled to Athens, Greece where he settled for seventeen years gaining knowledge and experience that directly inspired him to build his own studio practise. 

A further twenty years experince working as a stonemason within the UK conservation & heritage industry has enabled him to work and  collaborate on many historical buildings, monuments, churches and private homes. 

His combination of skills has led him to produce his own unique designs  creating gardens, fireplaces and architectural features.
